Dutch IT company Aiden is acquiring its sector peer Nessi, which is one of the various niche players that make Flanders’ digital industry so diverse and successful. With the acquisition, Aiden aims to grow into a leading SAP services provider in Western Europe.

Acquisition now official

The two companies made the acquisition official in a joint press release. Nessi was founded seven years ago by entrepreneur Kris Deroo and specializes in services related to the SAP S/4HANA resource planning software. Today, the Flanders-based company has 35 employees. Its clients include Cofinimmo, Colruyt and AG Real Estate.

SAP as the common denominator

Nessi and Aiden found each other in their expertise when it comes to the SAP portfolio. Nessi founder Kris Deroo: “We noticed that Aiden is interested in implementing a broader SAP portfolio in addition to SAP S/4HANA. What’s more, the company has a strong cloud strategy. Joining forces will make us a highly specialized one-stop-shop for SAP solutions. Also, thanks to Aiden’s position as a prominent SAP partner, we can put our organization more firmly on the map locally.”

Real estate expertise

With the acquisition of Nessi, Aiden specifically sees opportunities to expand its ICT services for the real estate sector. Nessi has developed a proposition based on a SaaS model to achieve just that.
